Traditional Braces (Twin Edgewise Brackets)

Edgewise appliances continue to be the primary workhorse appliance system throughout most orthodontics offices today. Variations in the design of the system are intended to simplify and shorten treatment time.  In general, this choice of treatment type is the more commonly recognized type of braces.

Even with the advent of the many new stylish types of treatment available today, advances in the use this traditional method have great improved their effectiveness and reduced discomfort.  In addition, this avenue can be a more cost effective choice.  There are still a great many options or aesthetic choices associated with traditional braces that make them more stylish today.
